Install Your Roku® Ultra Securely Outdoors This sleek enclosure is molded out of UV resistant Polycarbonate + ABS, an industrial grade plastic with greater strength and durability than standard ABS. It features a gasketed hinged door with dual latches, a stainless steel security screw and provision for padlock. Integrated mounting feet simplify installation. It meets or exceeds NEMA 3R, 3RX and IP24. Roku® Ultra Mount The NP12VFA1C-RKU1 features a mounting cradle specifically designed for the Roku® Ultra (Model 4802) and Roku® Ultra LT (Model 4801) streaming player. Installation is easy, simply slide the Roku® Ultra player into the mounting cradle. For installations subject to vibrations, an optional hook and loop strap is provided to secure the Roku® Ultra within the mounting cradle. The mounting cradle is designed so that it will not interfere with any of the ports on the Roku® Ultra player such as power, Ethernet and HDMI. Plug and Play Setup The NP12VFA1C-RKU1 enclosure provides easy plug-n-play installation. Once the Roku® Ultra player is securely mounted inside the enclosure, connect its power supply to the internal 120VAC power outlet. A cable gland and cable grommets on the enclosure allow cables to be connected to the device. Simply plug the enclosure’s 5 foot power cord into an outdoor outlet and you are up and running. Cooling Fan Ventilation To help keep your Roku® Ultra running cool, the NP12VFA1C-ARKU1 features two 2″ inch air vents and a thermostat controlled cooling fan. The low noise, high airflow fan helps maintain lower internal temperatures. The fan turns on when the internal temperature reaches 100°F (38°C) and turns off when it drops to 79°F (26°C). The fan is wired internally so it does not require use of the AC outlet. Rain shrouds on the front door keep rain water from entering the enclosure. Complete with Cable Grommets and Glands and Wire Management Straps For convenience, the included accessory kit contains cable grommets and glands, wall anchors, zip ties, hook-and-loop wire management straps, door locking key and more. Mounting The external mounting feet on the NP12VFA1C-RKU1 allows it to be easily wall mounted with the included hardware. For added security, mounting the enclosure using the internal mount feet can prevent the enclosure from being removed when locked. A pole mounting kit is also available for this enclosure.
