AVA provides the CR-IPS4 as an RS232 device for use with an AVA OS device driver and a device template for the type of serial-controlled device supported by AVA. Test all commands first from the web control UI before connecting to AVA OS.

The CR-IPS4 supports RS-232 on each of the 4 I/O ports, with 1 port also having supporting RS-422 or RS-485. You can connect up to four devices simultaneously and control them via a 3- 5-pin adapter cable to send RS-232/422/485 commands from this unit.
